Castle Gardens > Mumbles Pier
7pm

Following the amazing turn out in June there is no doubt that July is going to see upwards of 70 people (fingers crossed). There will be plenty of flyers on hand to give out to people in cars, walkers and fellow cyclists that aren't on the Mass.

See you there!

June 26th 2009

I think June 2009 will be remembered as the month when the Swansea Critical Mass came of age. 55+ riders turned up to ride from town to Mumbles. The plan was to ride about 1/3 of the way on the road and the rest on the cycle path but due to the great turn out some guys at the front of the pack decided to leave the path and ride along Oystermouth Road, the news trickled back and everyone followed.

Traffic was held up and 'released' all the way to Mumbles. Hopefully, over the next few months, we can start to use the powers we have in numbers to make Swansea more cycle friendly by liaising with the policy makers to highlight areas of the city that need improving with regards to cycling.

Castle Gardens > Mumbles Pier
7pm

This month we are going to deviate from the usual route as many people last time mentioned they wanted something a bit longer and more adventurous. The meeting place is the same: Castle Gardens, as is the end point: Mumbles Pier but the middle section will be different. It'll still be nice and easy though, don't worry :-D

Bring bells and horns if you have them so we can make a bit of noise for a laugh :-)

See you all there, everyone that came last time you are expected to bring a new friend, also anyone that would like to help a few of us flyer the week before please contact me :-)
